Football Players Physical Fitness Prediction According to their Self- Perception
Abstract
Football is one of the games and sports that requires a high level of
physical fitness to enable the athlete to perform his skilful and planning
duties, whether in the training or the competitions. In addition, a player
with a high level of physical fitness will have a high perception of
himself in comparison to another player with a weak physical fitness.
The planning and performance skills are closely linked to the different
aspects of the physical fitness’ elements (speed, endurance, strength,
agility and resilience). A good performance of skilful movements and
positive planning will not be achieved unless, an essential physical skills’
elements are available. It is common knowledge that developing physical
fitness well make significant physical changes that lead to a positive and
clear perception of the player towards himself. However, self- concept is
an essential factor to the psychological health and positive feeling for the
player. The researcher monitored several training football coaches
modules, they found that there is a clear lack of scientific facilities in
regulating the training loads of their players. This might be referred toknowledge shortage of applying exercise tests. This describe the necessity
of the scientific research in this field and the idea behind this study.
