Psychological resilience and its relationship to the transformational leadership of high school directors in Babylon department of education
Abstract
An introduction to and the issue of psychological resilience research and its
relationship to transformation leadership among head teachers was evident where
transformation leadership plays a major role in the selection of the director Where the
researcher explained the theoretical significance as the analysis proceeds from the
cognitive and theoretical introduction of current research variables and the evaluation
of transition leadership among head teachers in the Babylon Department of Education
in terms of their psychological resilience in this area.
Which prompted the researcher to study this trend in the ability to identify and
assess psychological resilience and transformational leadership, and disclose the
levels of its contribution to the selection of high school head teachers.
The study aimed to: -
- Identify the reality of psychological resilience and transformational leadership
among secondary school head teachers in the Babylon Department of Education.
- Identify the correlation between psychological resilience and transformational
leadership among secondary school head teachers in the Babylon Department of
Education.
The researcher used the descriptive approach in the survey method and
standard studies, and this is what he considers to be consistent with the criteria of his
study. Also in the research community were the head teachers of secondary schools
in the education department of Babylon. Following the collecting , review and
discussion of data, the researcher arrived at several conclusions, the most important
of which are:
- Head teachers in middle and high schools in Babylon Governorate have a high level
of psychological resilience and transformational leadership, as the researcher
concluded with several recommendations:
- Emphasizing the adoption of psychological resilience and transformational
leadership with a significant contribution rate as an indicator for selecting high
school head teachers.
