Abstract


The aim of this research was to identify the effect of using the method of teaching peers in learning the effectiveness of throwing javelin for students in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Karbala University. The study sample consisted of (42) female students of the first stage. The research sample was divided into two equal groups, the first one was female and the other experimental was the number of each group (20 students) The control group used the traditional method used by the teacher and the experimental group used the peer teaching method. The researcher used statistical pouch (spss) to analyze the results. The most prominent results reached were the following: Both my teacher-style and peer-to-peer style contribute to learning the effectiveness of javelin throwing for female students. The method of teaching peers contributes better and more effectively to learning the effectiveness of javelin for students.
