Abstract

The research aims at finding out the effect of various teaching methods in learning the mechanics of the basketball refereeing sings among the female students. The researcher used the experimental approach of the experimental design for the equal groups for its suitability the research problem. The research community consists of the students of the second stage (24 female students) for the academic year 2017-2018, of them were (5) female students to conduct the exploratory experiment on them. The sample was selected from the research community of (22) female students. They were randomly divided into two groups: the control and the experimental group, with 11 students per group, representing 91.66% Community research,. The researcher then prepared a teaching approach using some of the various teaching methods and applied the approach by a teaching unit per week for a period of 6 units. The results were extracted and the appropriate statistical processing were used to obtain the results. The researcher concluded that the various teaching means have an effective role in learning the mechanics of basketball refereeing signs among female students as well as saving time and effort for the teacher.
