Abstract


The Introduction of research and its importance includes the importance of the cross training and basketball and their effect in improving the heart , lungs function as well as trying to improve the performance skills and physical, the researcher trys to use a new way in basketball training, which is called cross training and see its effect in the development of sufficiently physical training ,for the movement of legs and the researcher trys to design a test to measure the legs movements (Foot Work) So the researcher trys to use of modern techniques of tools, equipment and exercises which are different from the main activity for developing the physical and functional capabilities of performance sports.
The researcher used the experimental approach to design one group so the sample consisted of (4)tall players from AL Hilla Club, who are training for 6 weeks and by (5) training units per a week the time of each unit is (30-60) minutes. and The results are treated by using the appropriate statistical methods.
The results show after using some means of Statistics existence that there is a great, improvement and development in measuring performance skills to the legs movement physical Working Capacity pwc170 by using physical efficiency test PWC170 by running above the moving traffic (treadmill) to measure the functional efficiency of the respiratory system the researcher recommended that the use of the cross training because of its positive impact on the development of the search.
