Abstract
Objective of present study is to know effect of mental training exercises with a style
of sequential and random exercises on learning of pass and shot skills in handball.
Researchers used an experimental approach method and subject of the study included
students of the second class in faculty of physical education & sport science\ Diyala
University, randomly we divided our subject into three groups (A, B, and C), 10 students for each group, group (A) is named first experimental group which used mental training with a style of sequential exercise, and second experimental group (B) used mental training with a style of random exercise, and third group (C) is named (control group) used style of the faculty (academic teacher). However, pre-tests conducted to know the equal between groups and we used (12) learn units divided into (2) learn units weakly, and then we conducted the post-tests. Researchers used SPSS to analyze study data which included (mean, SD, F, L.S.D, and T-test). We concluded that mental training with a style of sequential and random exercises has a positive effect on the learning of the pass and shot skills in handball, moreover, mental training with a style of sequential exercise is the best to learn skills of pass and shot in handball and has the best positive effect in tests of attention aspects and mental training and then following it mental training with a style of random exercise, finally style of faculty.
