Abstract
The study aims to identify the role of sports clubs in the achievement of social control from the viewpoint of members of the General Committee of the Saudi Football Federation. The study follows the descriptive approach, the study sample consists of (63) members of the General Committee of the Saudi Football Federation. To achieve this goal, the researcher develops a questionnaire consisting of (50) paragraph; and distributes on five areas: the role of sports clubs in collaboration with the family in the achievement of social control, the role of sports clubs in cooperation with the school in the achievement of social control, the role of sports clubs in cooperation with the mosque in the achievement of social control, the role of sports clubs in cooperation with the security organs in the achievement of social control, and the role of sports clubs in cooperation with the media in the achievement of social control. The results show that the role of sports clubs in the achievement of social control from the viewpoint of members of the General Committee of the Saudi Football Federation is high in all areas, and the results show the absence of statistically significant differences in the estimates of members of the General Committee of the Saudi Football Federation about the role of sports clubs in the achievement of social control attributed to the experience, while I found statistically significant differences in the estimates of members of the General Committee of the Saudi Football Federation about the role of sports clubs in the achievement of social control attributed to the educational qualification variable. In light of the results of the study, the study recommend interest and cooperation with the family , school, mosque, security organs and media to provide workshops public awareness about self control.
