Abstract


The significance of research is to benefit from Keller's strategy as a means of competition among students to increase their motivation towards the pursuit of some football skills by connecting them to each other and adapting them according to their abilities and self-readiness, as well as enhancing the cognitive aspects of these skills.
The researchers used the experimental method of experimental design, experimental and control groups of pre and post- test to suit the nature of the problem and the research objectives. The research sample consisted of two sections (C and D),selected randomly to be section C the experimental group ,totaling (15) students, and section D is the control group ,totaling (15) students.In light of the research objectives, the nature of the sample, the methodology used and statistical treatments and results, the researchers reached the most important conclusions: Keller's strategy has a positive effect in learning some aspects of knowledge and compounded skills in football used in the experimental group ass well as the approach used with the control group. The researchers recommend the following: The need to pay attention to the use Keller's strategy in teaching the basic skills of football by linking and fitting together. Emphasis on scientific research in Keller's strategy on the other stages of study and for sports games taught at the college.
