Abstract

The aim of the research is to know the relation among group from Anthropometries measurements with performance levels of the two skills of smashing and push back wall for volleyball athletes . the sample of the research is consisted of 12 athletes whom they present Mosul university team of volleyball . the researcher used the description method for its continent to the nature of the research. The data collected by analyzing the content, tests, and measurements.
The researcher used 7 Anthropometries measurements which represent the length and perimeter of the body, these are (the whole length, the length of the arm, perimeter of thigh , perimeter leg) and the weight of the body. The data were treated statistically by (arithmetic mean , normative deviation, simple correlation coefficient ). The researcher concluded the following :
1-There is a correlation relation that has moral trait among the whole length for the body and the performance level of smashing and push back wall .
2- There is no correlation relation that has moral trait among the weight of the body and the performance level of smashing and push back wall .
3- There is a correlation relation that has moral trait among the length of arm and the length of hand and the performance level of smashing and push back wall .
4- There is a correlation relation that has moral trait among perimeter of thigh and perimeter of leg with performance level of smashing and push back wall .
The researcher recommended : It is very important to select the athletes of volleyball whom they have good body measurements which help to superiority in this game which showed moral correlations with the skills of this game.
