Journal of Advanced Medical Research (JAMR) is an open access journal, provides rapid publication of various articles in the fields of Medical, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Comparative Veterinary and Medical sciences, and related disciplines. JAMR seeks to publish experimental and theoretical research results of outstanding significance in the form of original articles, reviews, case reports, short reports, or letters to the editor.
The JAMR editors endorse the principles embodied in the Declaration of Helsinki and expect that all investigations involving humans would have been performed in accordance with these principles. For animal experimentation, it is expected that investigators would have observed the Interdisciplinary Principles and Guidelines for the Use of Animals in Research, Testing, and Education issued by the New York Academy of Sciences Adhoc Committee on Animal Research. All human and animal studies prefer to have been approved by the investigator's Institutional review board.
Review process. Manuscripts are evaluated on the basis that they present new insights to the investigated topic, are likely to contribute to a research progress or change in clinical practice. It is understood that all authors listed on a manuscript have agreed to its submission. The signature of the corresponding author on the letter of submission signifies that these conditions have been fulfilled.
Received manuscripts will be first examined by the JAMR editors. Manuscripts with insufficient priority for publication will be sent to high professional group (DSR High Proficiency) if the author accepts, or the manuscripts will be rejected without external evaluation. Incomplete packages or manuscripts not prepared in the advised style will be sent back to authors for correction. The authors will be notified with the reference number upon manuscript registration at the Editorial Office. The registered manuscripts will be sent to independent experts for scientific evaluation. We encourage authors to suggest the names of possible reviewers, but we reserve the right of final selection. The overall process usually takes on average 2-3 months. Submitted papers will be accepted for publication after a positive opinion of the independent reviewers.
Types of accepted articles
- Original articles: Articles which represent in-depth research in various scientific disciplines.
- Case reports
- Review articles: Should normally comprise less than 10,000 words contain an unstructured abstract of 100 words or less, and includes up-to-date references.
- Mini Reviews: These are reviews of important and recent topics that are presented in a concise and well-focused structure. The number of words is limited to 5,000.
- Short Communications: Should be complete and original manuscripts of significant importance. However, their length and/or depth do not justify a full-length paper. The total number of Figures and Tables should not exceed 4. The number of words should be = 2,500.
- Letter to the Editor for comments on recently published articles.
- Special reports: Papers may be accepted on the basis that they provide a systematic, critical and up-to-date overview of literature pertaining to research or clinical topics. Meta-analyses are considered as reviews. A special attention will be paid to a teaching value of a review paper.
Online ISSN: 2231-8313

JAMR aims at rapid publication of concise research papers of a broad interest in Medical fields. Subject areas include all the current fields of interest represented by the Committees of the Design Scientific Renaissance. JAMR welcomes papers and articles in Medical fields, including but not limited to the following:
- Medicine
- Surgery
- Pathology
- Immunology
- Microbiology
- Dentistry
- Pharmaceutical Science
- Allied health sciences
- Use only (Times New Roman) font 12 with 1.15 space for all sections within the article except the Abstract, it should be written in Times new Roman size 11. The article should be written in one column.
- The Document margins are 1 inch for left, right, top and bottom.
- Use APA 2011 for references and citations (www.apa.org)
- Paper title should be in the center, Bold, and size 16 in Arial. The authors name should be written in Arial font and size 14. Addresses and emails of the authors are in Arial font size 11.
- Do not use boldface typing except for section headings.
- Do not print page numbers.
- All manuscripts must be in English.
- When receiving the manuscript, we assume that the corresponding authors grant us the copyright to use the manuscript for the book or journal in question.
- The indentation of the first line after the first paragraph should be 0.25 inch for all sections.
- There should be no space between the paragraphs in the same section, and no spaces between the references.
Cover Letter All manuscripts should be submitted with a pre-defined cover letter. Authors may download a sample cover letter by clicking here.
Subdivision - numbered sections Divide your article into clearly defined and numbered sections. Subsections should be numbered 1.1 (then 1.1.1, 1.1.2, ...), 1.2, etc. (the abstract is not included in section numbering). Use this numbering also for internal cross-referencing: do not just refer to "the text". Any subsection may be given a brief heading. Each heading should appear on its own separate line.
Abstract The abstract should conclude the research paper in (50-300) words. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. Write the abstract in Times new Roman, size 11.
Key words Use (3-6) words, these keywords will be used for indexing purposes. The font of the keywords is times new roman, size 11 and Bold.
Introduction State the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background, avoiding a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.
Methodology Provide sufficient detail to allow the work to be reproduced. Methods already published should be indicated by a reference: only relevant modifications should be described.
Results & Discussion Results should be clear and concise. This should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. A combined Results and Discussion section is often appropriate. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.
Conclusion The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short Conclusions section, which should stand alone.
Appendices If there is more than one appendix, they should be identified as A, B, etc. Formulae and equations in appendices should be given separate numbering: Eq. (A.1), Eq. (A.2), etc.; in a subsequent appendix, Eq. (B.1) and so on. Similarly for tables and figures: Table A.1; Fig. A.1, etc.
Tables Tables (refer with: Table 1, Table 2) should be presented as part of the text. A descriptive title should be placed above each table. The caption should be self-contained and placed below or beside the table. Units in tables should be given in square brackets [cm²]. If square or standard brackets (cm²).
Figures Figures (refer with: Fig. 1, Fig. 2) and should be presented as part of the text, leaving enough space so that the capt¬ion will not be confused with the text. The caption should be self-contained and placed below the figure. Color figures are welcome for the online version of the journal. Generally, these figures will be reduced to black and white for the print version. The author should indicate on the checklist if he wishes to have them printed in full color and make the necessary payments in advance.
Equations Equations (refer with: Eq. 1, Eq. 2. There should be one line of space above the equation and one line of space below it before the text continues. The equations have to be numbered sequentially, and the number put in parentheses at the right-hand edge of the text. Equations should be punctuated as if they were an ordinary part of the text. Punctuation appears after the equation but before the equation number
Literature References References are cited in the text just according to APA (name, year). The references are to be numbered in the alphabetic order and are to be listed at the end of the contribution under a heading References, see our example below.
Summary Please also provide your phone number, fax number and e mail address for rapid communication with the publisher. If you follow the foregoing, your paper will conform to the requirements of the publisher and facilitate a problem-free publication process.
