The Journal of Purity, Utility Reaction & ENVIRONMENT focuses upon six aspects of chemical engineering: chemical reaction engineering, environment chemical engineering, and materials synthesis and processing, catalyst surface reaction, optimization and control.
The Journal of Purity, Utility Reaction & ENVIRONMENT is an international research journal and invites contributions of original and novel fundamental research. The journal aims to provide articles which describe novel theory and its application to practice are welcome, as are those which illustrate the transfer of techniques from other disciplines. The overall focus is on original and rigorous research results which have generic significance.
Within the Journal of Purity, Utility Reaction & ENVIRONMENT, the ENVIRONMENT Chemical Engineering section presents papers dealing with topics in ENVIRONMENT chemical and process engineering. Treatment and ENVIRONMENT separation processes, pollution control and resources recovery, ENVIRONMENT bioprocesses, bioenergy, ENVIRONMENT nanotechnology, clean process technology and waste minimization include the topics which are covered. Papers in which knowledge from other disciplines is integrated with chemical engineering are especially welcome. Within the Journal of Purity, Utility Reaction & ENVIRONMENT, the Chemical Reaction Engineering section presents papers on a wide range of topics including reaction kinetics, applied catalysis, simulation and optimization of different types of reactors, unsteady-state reactors, multiphase reactors, and fundamental investigations of the processes of heat, mass and momentum transfer that take place along with chemical reaction. Research works addressing all critical areas of reactor engineering are particularly welcome.
Within the Journal of Purity, Utility Reaction & ENVIRONMENT, the Materials Synthesis and Processing section presents papers dealing with different aspects of the preparation and characterization of advanced materials. Novel physical and chemical methods of synthesis will be covered, as well as the processes used to obtain materials of different morphologies (particles, films, fibers), and to modify their surface and structural properties, always from a chemical engineering point of view. Manuscripts dealing with micro- and nano-structured materials and those describing the preparation of composite and hybrid materials with advanced properties are especially welcome.
Within the Journal of Purity, Utility Reaction & ENVIRONMENT, the Catalyst surface Reaction Engineering section presents papers on same a wide range of chemical reaction with different types of catalyst for activation reactions for porous and non porous catalyst, adsorption, desorption and absorption topics. Research works addressing critical areas of complex reactions in all types of reactors are welcome.
Within the Journal of Purity, Utility Reaction & ENVIRONMENT, the Optimization section presents papers dealing with different aspects to demonstrate the applications of advanced process optimization by using Newton , Modified Newton, Relative Extreme Function, Interpolation of Objective Function, Descent , Simplex, Basic Linear Optimization, Conjugate Gradient , Rosenbrock , Modified Quasi Newton , Hooke –Jeeves as well as advance techniques like Sequential Quadratic Programming, genetic algorithm methods etc. Research works addressing critical areas of complex reactions in all types of reactors are welcome. - All manuscripts must be in English.
- When receiving the manuscript, we assume that the corresponding authors grant us the copyright to use the manuscript for the book or journal in question.
- The indentation of the first line after the first paragraph should be 0.25 inch for all sections.
- There should be no space between the paragraphs in the same section, and no spaces between the references.
Cover Letter All manuscripts should be submitted with a pre-defined cover letter. Authors may download a sample cover letter by clicking here.
Subdivision - numbered sections Divide your article into clearly defined and numbered sections. Subsections should be numbered 1.1 (then 1.1.1, 1.1.2, ...), 1.2, etc. (the abstract is not included in section numbering). Use this numbering also for internal cross-referencing: do not just refer to "the text". Any subsection may be given a brief heading. Each heading should appear on its own separate line.
Abstract The abstract should conclude the research paper in (50-300) words. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. Write the abstract in Times new Roman, size 11.
Key words Use (3-6) words, these keywords will be used for indexing purposes. The font of the keywords is times new roman, size 11 and Bold.
Introduction State the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background, avoiding a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.
Methodology Provide sufficient detail to allow the work to be reproduced. Methods already published should be indicated by a reference: only relevant modifications should be described.
Results & Discussion Results should be clear and concise. This should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. A combined Results and Discussion section is often appropriate. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.
Conclusion The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short Conclusions section, which should stand alone.
Appendices If there is more than one appendix, they should be identified as A, B, etc. Formulae and equations in appendices should be given separate numbering: Eq. (A.1), Eq. (A.2), etc.; in a subsequent appendix, Eq. (B.1) and so on. Similarly for tables and figures: Table A.1; Fig. A.1, etc.
Tables Tables (refer with: Table 1, Table 2) should be presented as part of the text. A descriptive title should be placed above each table. The caption should be self-contained and placed below or beside the table. Units in tables should be given in square brackets [cm²]. If square or standard brackets (cm²).
Figures Figures (refer with: Fig. 1, Fig. 2) and should be presented as part of the text, leaving enough space so that the capt¬ion will not be confused with the text. The caption should be self-contained and placed below the figure. Color figures are welcome for the online version of the journal. Generally, these figures will be reduced to black and white for the print version. The author should indicate on the checklist if he wishes to have them printed in full color and make the necessary payments in advance.
Equations Equations (refer with: Eq. 1, Eq. 2. There should be one line of space above the equation and one line of space below it before the text continues. The equations have to be numbered sequentially, and the number put in parentheses at the right-hand edge of the text. Equations should be punctuated as if they were an ordinary part of the text. Punctuation appears after the equation but before the equation number
Literature References References are cited in the text just according to APA (name, year). The references are to be numbered in the alphabetic order and are to be listed at the end of the contribution under a heading References, see our example below.
