And Victoria Beckham proved the saying also applies to women on Thursday as she sported blonde locks in cute throwback photos to honour International Dog Day alongside a host of stars.
The fashion designer, 47, looked adorable in the Instagram snaps, taken when she was 13, as she joked she was 'en-route to Crufts' before she became a Spice Girl.
