Vacuum furnace (English: Vacuum furnace) is a furnace or furnace that is surrounded by a vacuum (vacuum) during processing. The existence of a vacuum prevents oxidation, heat loss through convection, and reduces sources of contamination.
This allows the vacuum furnace to heat materials (such as metals and ceramics) up to 3000°C (for certain materials). These furnaces are applied in various industrial and research processes.
Vacuum induction furnace
The vacuum induction furnace is composed of a furnace which has an inductor. The position of the inductor is next to the vacuum chamber. For testing purposes in the laboratory, a vacuum induction furnace with a small capacity and a quartz pipe with a diameter of 400–500 millimeters is used.
Meanwhile, in the industry, vacuum induction furnaces are used with the flow of electric current and the flow of cooling water is difficult. The insulation resistance between coil loops is also very low.
Main feature:
1. The vacuum furnace is composed of furnace case, internal furnace, heat-insulating material, furnace cover, vacuum pump and electric-controlling cabinet.
2. The vacuum furnace can be filled with N2, Ar, etc. atmophere protection.
3. It's heating-up mode is using electrical resistance or induction to heat up.
4. High temperature can reach 3000º C.
5. The metal in the crucible will be purified and the alloy material will be controlled precisely under the action of the alternating magnetic field induction coil.
6. High heating temperature, fast melting.
7. Various materials can be added at any time when melting under vacuum.
8. heating temperature controlled
9. Easy to cooperate and maintain.
10. Vacuum Heat Treatment - It has the function of detecting when abnormal conditions occur such as electricity, water-cutting, under voltage and super leakage.
11. Vacuum induction furnace is divided into vertical and horizontal structure. There are various specifications to meet different application & technology requirements.
