Pengembangan teknologi transportasi.
Selain pengembangan teknologi komunikasi, Indonesia juga mengalami perkembangan di bidang transportasi, sebagai berikut:
Transportasi darat
Transportasi terestrial dimulai dengan pembangunan jalan tol besar pada tahun 1973 untuk menghubungkan daerah terpencil. Jalan tol pertama yang dibangun pada tahun 1973 adalah jalan tol Jakarta - Bogor - Ciawi dan banyak lagi konstruksi jalan masih berlanjut hingga sekarang.
Selain jalan tol, pada tahun 1995 penggunaan kereta ekspres yang mempercepat 120 km per jam telah diresmikan. Jakarta-Surabaya, yang awalnya diambil dalam waktu 14 jam, dapat dipersingkat hanya 9 jam. Berkat perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, hingga saat ini transportasi di Indonesia dikembangkan lagi dengan pengoperasian KRL (rel listrik) Jabodetabek, LRT dan MRT.
Transportasi air
Tutorial - Bidang transportasi maritim telah mengalami perkembangan pesat di Indonesia. Selama Penolak V, upaya yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah dalam pembangunan fasilitas transportasi maritim merehabilitasi dan meningkatkan kapasitas infrastruktur yang ada, seperti akuisisi feri, pengangkutan barang, peningkatan port dan pegas untuk memperluas dan mempercepat interinstalitas lalu lintas
Transportasi udara
Perkembangan transportasi udara ditandai dengan perjalanan yang paling mudah dan cepat melalui udara, baik antara pulau maupun antar negara, yaitu, dengan ketersediaan pesawat angkut penumpang dan maskapai penerbangan nasional seperti Garuda Indonesia, Air Merpati, Adam Air, León Air, Sriwijaya Air, Air Asia, dan lainnya, antara lain.
Maskapai penerbangan di Indonesia menggunakan beberapa jenis pesawat penumpang, seperti MD II, Boeing 737 400 dan Fokker F-28 dan Indonesia juga memiliki industri pesawat (IPTN) di Bandung, yang telah menghasilkan helikopter dan pesawat terbang.
